Bachelor of Commerce is a three year degree program. In this, students learns accounting, business etc. For years the course is all time favourite of students. Commerce and Humanities students can apply for it. Low fees and higher job chances is what makes it popular. Hence, it is a good option to consider. Bcom is the base to many well known courses like MBA and M.Com. Some universities gives integrated programs like B.Com LLB, B.Com CMA etc. B.Com marks as the gateway to a career in commerce, finance, accounting, banking and insurance. Some B.Com students also consider the course as Plan B while preparing for Chartered Accountancy and Cost Accounting.
10+2 passed in any branch is fine for bcom admissions. May be some colleges conducts entrance tests.

But those who wish to start working immediately after completing the B.Com course can find various jobs at the junior level in accounting, commerce, banking and finance and related fields.
