Library

Manasa College is proud to say that the library is extensive, well-ventilated, and spacious with comfortable seating arrangements. There is a full-time qualified and well-experienced Librarian who manages the Library. There is a separate journal section. It houses nearly 3150 volumes of the latest editions of various subjects of syllabus and other general interests.

Manasa College has added about 160 new Nursing books worth rupees 3 Lakhs to the existing books and subscribed three more journals at the National and International levels to the existing 13 Journals. Moreover, the library is computerized too, providing the library with an internet facility. In fact, Manasa College is planning to establish a departmental library in due course.

Sports

Manasa Nursing Institute Malur provides a spacious sports room which includes table tennis, carom boards, chessboard and many other indoor games. Mansa College Malur Students Hostel Timings

• Students will be permitted to go out only on Sundays after getting permission from the Principal and should report to the hostel before 7.30 p.m.
• If the students are willing to go out for any reason during the day, advance permission from the Principal, Class Coordinator and Warden is necessary.

Cleanness

• Students should keep the common toilets, bathrooms, pantry, etc. clean and conducive for repeat use.
• Students should wash their clothes in the permitted areas only.
• All damages caused through negligence and carelessness need to pay as fines by the students.

Mess Rules of Manasa College Malur

• The Students need to take food from the hostel mess in the dining place provided.
• The food will be served at specific times only.
• Taking the food to the room has strictly prohibited.
• If the student has been infected with sickness and needs a special diet, prior intimation should be given to the warden.

Sickness/ILL Health

• Students of Mansa College Malur need to report to the Principal, Class Coordinator and Warden when they are ill and are not able to come for clinical and classes.
• Students are advised not to practice self-medication.
• Students who are sick will remain in the sick room and others are asked not to disturb them.
• The leave forms should be submitted to the College before joining the classes.

Visiting Hours of Manasa College Malur

• On working days, the visiting hours are from 4.30 p.m. to 6.00 p.m. and on Sundays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Visitors do not have permission to enter the hostel after 6 p.m.
• Visitors need to bring the identity card given by the institution.

Stay Out

• The students can take overnight stay away from the hostel once in fifteen days to their local guardian’s home
• They should report to the Warden before leaving the hostel and after coming back, they need to sign the register.

Telephone Calls

• Incoming calls can attend from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. in the morning and 4.30 p.m. to 11 p.m. in the evening. The time allotted for a call is 5 -5 10 minutes.
• The students can make calls from the STD booths which are available inside the campus from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. and in the evening from 4.30 pm to 10.30 pm.
• Students do not have permission to receive calls or make or bring cell phones to the clinics and classes.

Security for Students in Manasa College of Nursing Malur

• An Internal Security Committee provided for the security measures of students in the campus, library and clinical areas, especially during morning and night.

• Security of the Students on the college Campus particularly if the Library hours are extended up to 5.00 p.m.

• Night-out permission has granted only with a parent’s or local guardian’s letter or the guardian herself/himself accompanies the students.
