The College was established in the year 2002 under the trust of Sri Vinayaka Group of Institutions(SVGI).The Joint Development & Benevolent Educational Trust in Golden City (Kolar Gold Fields). The Sri Vinayaka College was affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences [RGUHS], Bangalore and approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC). Eligibility Criteria

B.Sc Nursing

• The Candidate should have a minimum age limit for BSc Nursing admission 2023 is 17 years.
• The Candidates should have completed a 10+2 level of education with Physics, Biology, English, and Chemistry as core subjects.
• The Candidate should have a minimum merit percentage requirement that varies for different BSc nursing colleges.
• Apart from the minimum merit score, candidates must also have met the cut-off requirements in the qualifying entrance examinations.

General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)

• The Candidate should Pass the Plus-2 or correspondent examination known via the Government of Kerala or through any of the Universities in Kerala required to apply.
• The above qualification would be passed with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects and English with 40% total marks.
• 10+2, ANM course from the schools made known by INC is also entitled to admission
• The Candidates should have finalized the age of 17 years on 31st December 2023.
• The maximum age of the candidate would be 35 years on the date.

Library

The Sri Vinayaka College contains a well-equipped library in the centre of the institution. The Library contains 10000 books and 10 journals. Strict adherence to the code of conduct inside the library is a must for all categories of readers. seating comfort, ventilation and lights have been well taken care of by the librarians.

Hostel

The College provides 2 hostel facilities for both boys and girls the students. All two hostels are inside the campus and all are taken care of by strict wardens. The hostel also provides a pleasant and homely atmosphere to the students and all types of food are available both Southern and Northern type Dishes. Laboratory

The Sri Vinayaka College provides a well-equipped laboratory for students with highly imported equipment. All types of labs are available in the college like Anatomy & Physiology, Fundamental of Nursing, Maternity, Child Health, Community Health Nursing and Audio-Visual aids help the students to get fine skills in performing the procedures.
