Eligibility Criteria to Join Courses in Vivekananda College of Nursing

B.Sc Nursing

• The Candidate Should have a minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission.
• Students should have a senior school certificate examination and an equivalent with 12 years of schooling from a recognized board, or University with science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (PCBE).
• For SC/ST candidates 40% of aggregate marks.

M.Sc Nursing

• The Candidate should have a minimum education requirement shall be the passing of; B.Sc., Nursing / B.Sc., Hons. Nursing / Post-Basic B.Sc Nursing with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks studied in an institution which is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
• The candidate should be a Registered Nurse and Registered midwife or equivalent with any state Nursing Registration Council
• Minimum one year of work experience after Basic B.Sc., Nursing.
