Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Nursing is one of the best nursing colleges in Coimbatore. Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Nursing was established in the year 2006 under the Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Charitable and Educational Trust. The prime aim of the trust is to provide quality education to the students.

Dhanalakshmi College has the approval of the Tamil Nadu Nursing Council (TNNC) and the Indian Nursing Council (INC). The college offers courses such as M.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, GNM and ANM Programme. The affiliated university of Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College is Tamilnadu Dr M.G.R Medical University. The college has a collaborative arrangement with various speciality hospitals and community centre to fulfil the needs of the students. The college building measures 51,590 sq. ft with all infrastructure facilities including classrooms, labs, library, playground, auditorium and hostel.

Library

The College Library is fully equipped with numerous books and journals, and Elibrary and E-Journals are available for Students. Every day the library is open from 09.00 a.m. to 05.00 p.m. The library is entirely computerized and automated in all its operations. Hence the Open Access System is followed. Photocopying facility is available in the library. A convenient spacious reading area is available.

Classroom

The college provides spacious classroom facilities for the students. All the classrooms of Dhanalakshmi College are equipped with modern aided technology. Each classroom is equipped with Black Boards, OHPs, a public address system, and an LCD.

Hostel

Dhanalakshmi Nursing College provides separate hostels for boys and girls with good infrastructure. All the rooms have enough space and are furnished with intercom facilities. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods are provided in a hygienic way. Furthermore, separate food for Andhra, Kerala and North Indians is also provided. The ladies hostel is attached to a swimming pool. Five aesthetically designed modern hostels with homely ambience Medical facility available with free medicines provided to sick students Medical Lab facility also available.

Auditorium

The college has a specially designed centralized air-conditioned auditorium with 500 seats equipped with audio, video and digital surrounding. A highly technological air-conditioned seminar hall is available with modern multimedia facilities that can accommodate 250 members.
