Udupi College of Nursing is one of the most popular nursing colleges in Karnataka. The College was established in the year 2004 and was affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences [RGUHS] Bengaluru, and approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC)& recognized by Karnataka State. The institution envisages interlink feels of education, humanity, health sciences and services in preparing students to face the challenges of their profession, society and community at large.

The Udupi Group of Institutions believes that Nursing is a profession which is based on scientific advancement and changing needs of society. The course aims at developing a student’s ideals, ethics and conscience to create a nurse of outstanding qualities who is well aware of the human dimensions of this noble profession.

Features and Facilities of Udupi College

Hostel Facilities

Udupi Group of Institutions provides 3 Hostel facilities for the students and a comfortable stay for all the students during their course of study. The hostel is clean and comfortable and each room is provided with adequate facilities for stay and study. All types of foods are available at the hostel dinner both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.

Classroom

The College provides well-equipped classrooms with modern audio-video equipment and projectors for the mutual benefit of the faculty and students in order to facilitate the process of imparting and receiving information on various subjects.

Library

The Institution has a well-arranged library for the students with around 8600 books from various Indian and foreign authors which caters to the needs of students. Journals, magazines and newspapers are also available in the library to enrich the knowledge of students in the current scenario.

Transportation

The Institution provides transportation facilities to travel from the hostel to College. This facility is available with a nominal charge for students who wish to avail of the transport service.
