Srinivas Group of Colleges works under A.Shama Rao foundation.Established in the year 1988. Years later they achieved great success. For instance, now Srinivas Group of Colleges has over 12,000 students and 18 colleges. They have three campuses. Mukka, Valachil and Pandeshwar.

Mukka campus comprises of Srinivas Medical College and other colleges. It is located in Mukka near NH66 on Udupi, Manipal route. It is 18kms away from Mangalore City. Valachil campus is located 25km away from Mangalore City on Bangalore road. However, it has better facilities when compared to other colleges inside Mangalore City. Pandeshwar campus is at the heart of Mangalore City. In addition, it is near to Mangalore Central Railway Station and State Bank Bus Stand which is the major bus station of Mangalore. Divided between 18 own colleges, Srinivas Group provides many courses. For an example, MBBS, MD, BDS, MDS, BE, B Pharm, M Pharm, B. Sc Nursing, M. Sc Nursing, GNM, MBA, B. Arch etc. Also, they have their own university too. Its called Srinivas University.

Srinivas Institute Of Medical Sciences And Research Center

Srinivas Institute Of Medical Sciences And Research Center has its infrastructure inside Srinivas Integrated Campus, Mukka. It is a Super speciality Hospital with over 20 departments and a Medical College with annual intake of 150 students for MBBS. Also, they mentor at least 20 research scholars every year. Medical college has Affiliation of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. And, it is approved by Medical Council Of India, New Delhi. 250 bedded multi speciality hospital has state-of-the-art infrastructure. Likewise, the medical college has latest equipments and smart digital air-conditioned classrooms.

SIDS – Srinivas Institute Of Dental Sciences

Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences is a renowned institution that works under A Shama Rao Foundation Educational Trust. SIDS is located inside Srinivas Integrated Campus, Mukka. Basically, the institution provides BDS course. However, there is MDS too. This college was started in 2012. It has 100 seats intake each year. It is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore (Karnataka) and approved by Dental Council of India, New Delhi and Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India as per the notification. SIDS has separate infrastructure inside Srinivas Integrated Campus. But, students can make use of the on-campus super specialty hospital too.

Srinivas College of Pharmacy

This college is located in Valachil Campus. It was established in 2004. There are UG, PG and Doctoral courses So, there is a good number of students. Valachil campus has a loving climate and good environment. So, students will love it there. This is a complete college for pharmacy studies. Because firstly, the college has UG courses D Pharm and B Pharm. Secondly, there is PG course M Pharm. Thirdly, there is Pharm D which is a rare course.

From the beginning SSP has Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Affiliation. Approved by AICTE. Also, the college has Pharmacy Council of India(PCI) Approval.

Srinivas Institute of Nursing Sciences

Srinivas Institute of Nursing Sciences is located in Valachil Campus. But, the clinical facilities are provided in Srinivas Hospital Mukka. However, students don’t to worry about travelling. Srinivas has transportation facilities. The college has a good history and a good number of alumni too. Moreover, 2003 is the year this college got established. Srinivas Institute of Nursing Sciences has Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Affiliation. Also, it is Indian Nursing Council(INC) Approved and Karnataka Nursing Council(KNC) Approved. Basically, the college has high demand. That is mainly because of the hospital access. Secondly, because of the INC approval. And thirdly, because of the lack of Hospital attached colleges with government university approvals. While Srinivas Institute of Nursing Sciences provides B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing courses, A. Shama Rao Nursing School provides GNM course.

Vijayalakshmi Institute of Hospitality Sciences

Vijayalakshmi Institute of Hospitality Sciences mainly provides three-year Bachelor of Science degrees in the fields of hotel management (B. Sc. (H.S.)). Also, Interior design and decoration (B. Sc. (ID & D)) is available. The college has Mangalore University Affiliation. In addition, the college is located in pandeshwar campus inside Mangalore City.

Srinivas Institute of Technology

SIT Provides Engineering courses. However, there is other courses such as MBA, MCA etc. SIT is AICTE approved. Also, it has VTU affiliation. SIT is one of the most reputed Engineering Colleges in Mangalore. It has UG, PG and Doctoral courses. The institution is NAAC Accredited and also ISTE and COA approved.
