BTech Electronics and Communications Engineering is a four year technical UG course. It deals with communication, electronics and electricity. Moreover, it develops skills to combine hardware and software parts.

This course is divided into a total of eight semesters, two semesters per year. Both practical and theory exams are held at the end of each year. The curriculum provides students with a solid base in the foundations of electronics and communications engineering through classes such as Analog & Digital Communications, Signals and Structures, Modern Logic & Circuits, Coding, etc.

It is based on research, design, development and testing of electronics in various systems. The core topics include an understanding of analog transmission, basic electronics, microprocessors, digital and analog communication, satellite communication, microwave, antennae and wave progression.

The delivery method includes a combined study of topics through classrooms, practical, lab works, workshops, research programs and internships. Students who loves electronics can go for it. It’s a bit tough when compared to other engineering branches. But, it’s easy to learn once you have the basic ideas. Start learning the basics thoroughly. It will definitely help you. Very few students are now going for E&C. So, it is easy to get a job. Since, there is no good competition. In India and abroad, thousands of job opportunities are currently available in 2021. We recommend you to go for a master’s degree once you complete BTech. So many candidates are getting good jobs after PG.

Students needs 10+2 with physics, chemistry and maths. They need 45% marks too. There may be an entrance exam in some colleges.
