BTech Nano Technology is a four year engineering under graduate course. Nanotechnology is the study of manipulating matter on an atomic and molecular scale. It is very diverse, ranging from extensions of conventional device physics to completely new approaches based upon molecular self-assembly. And from developing new materials with dimensions on the nanoscale to investigating whether we can directly control matter on the atomic scale. Nanotechnology entails the application of fields of science as diverse as surface science, organic chemistry, molecular biology, micro fabrication etc. So, the course is highly valuable and getting more important as every technology is converting into nano-size.
It is highly emerging now. Since last ten years, more studies and companies are forming in this field. Hence, there are many job opportunities too.
