Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is a five-year full time course. After passing the fifth year of education, students needs to complete one year internship in various clinical departments.

Is DPT equivalent to MBBS?
No, it is not equivalent to MBBS. But, it is a same level program. DPT candidates cannot apply for surgeon or physician job. But they are doctors in their field.
Which is better DPT or MPT?
MPT focus on the field of medicine explored in physical therapy while DPT covers a wider perspective of the same. Hence, DPT is better than MPT.
