Indira Gandhi College of Arts and Science Kothamangalam is a first-grade Undergraduate/ Postgraduation Institution for higher education. The College was Established in 2002 and is situated at Nellikuzhy, Kothamangalam. This College is affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University and Approved by the Govt of Kerala, Kottayam.IGCAS was founded and Managed by the Indira Gandhi Memorial trust. Under this trust, Indira Gandhi Institution of Dental Science, Indira Gandhi College of Paramedical Science, KMP Group of Institution & SSM LP School Kudumunda are owned and Managed.

This college contains a very good campus atmosphere and all Extracurricular activities are promoted by the management. Comparatively many students from IGCAS are selected for State and National level competitions and also they promote so many campus interviews through these campus interviews so many students got their dream jobs and this was the most positive review told by the students about this college. The auditorium is a room built on campus it enables the students to hear and watch performances at venues.
