Sri Siddhartha Medical College Bangalore is one of the well-known medical colleges in Tumkur, Bangalore. Sri Siddhartha Medical College Tumkur was established in 1988 with the approval of the medical council of India under Bangalore University. Later the college merged with RGUHS, Bangalore.

Sri Siddhartha Medical College Bangalore is a huge green campus in Tumkur with a built-up area of more than 130134 sqm and a teaching hospital with around 1000 beds. The Medical College Institution is accredited with an ‘A’ Grade in the 1st Cycle by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and has been placed in Category ‘B’ by the Government of India (MHRD). In 2008 Sri Siddhartha medical college became a constituent college of Sri Siddharth an Academy of Higher Education, (Deemed to be University Declared under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956).
