School of Agricultural Sciences

The School of Agricultural Sciences (JU-SOAGS) at Joy University was established with a multidisciplinary approach following the guidelines of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. The academic curriculum is structured with balanced semesters and innovative curricula to meet the agricultural demands of our country. Students will gain hands-on experience through Rural Work Experience, the Experiential Learning Program, and Hands-on Training throughout their studies.

Agricultural sciences, sciences dealing with food and fibre production and processing. They include the technologies of crop cultivation, soil cultivation and harvesting, animal production, and the processing of plant and animal products for human consumption and use.
