Sri Devaraj Urs College of Nursing Kolar (SDUCON) is one of the well-known Nursing Colleges in Karnataka. Sri Devaraj Urs College of Nursing Kolar is run under the Devraj Educational Trust. The Trust started the school of nursing which offers a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery in 1995.
Sri Devaraj Urs College of Nursing came into existence in 1998, with four years of B.Sc Nursing Degree programs. The College has affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Bangalore, Karnataka. Sri Devaraj Urs College of Nursing has attached to a Parent Hospital, a constituent unit of Sri Devaraj Medical College affiliated with Sri Devaraj Urs University Academy of Higher Education and Research. The hospital is 1204 bedded with NABH & NABL accredited laboratory. Sri Devaraj Nursing College is situated in Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College and Hospital campus at Tamaka, a rural area.

Laboratories
The College of Nursing has 5 labs namely Fundamentals of Nursing, Community health nursing, Nutrition, OBG and Pediatric nursing and a computer lab. Apart from this students are also utilizing skill labs, anatomy and physiology labs, microbiology, biochemistry and pathology labs for their experience.

The Institution has greatly privileged to have a parent hospital, R.L.Jalappa Hospital and Research Center multispecialty Medical College Teaching Hospital with 1200 bed capacity along with an advanced critical care centre, with NABH accreditation. The hospital has also integrated with Narayana Hrudayalaya a Super-Specialty Cardiac Hospital to meet the clinical learning experiences of the student

The College of Nursing has a separate building as per the norms which are spread over three floors and is situated on Sri Devaraj Urs University campus. The institution has a spacious well-ventilated lecture/ seminar hall with ICT enabled to support e-learning.
