MSc Medical Imaging Technology is a two year paramedical master degree. It teaches the principles of radio imaging devices and how to operate them. Basically, this course is for students who completed B.Sc Medical Imaging Technology. Medical Imaging Technology students will be having a good knowledge in handling radio imaging devices.So, M.Sc MIT teaches them the advanced techniques and all the fundamentals of these devices.
M.Sc MIT is a job oriented programme. Students can find jobs in hospitals, colleges and research centres. In addition, MNCs are also hiring good candidates.
M.Sc Medical Imaging Technology is comparatively easier to study. This course is more of a practical study.
Eligibility for this course varies from institute to institute. But generally any BSc graduates are eligible to apply for this course. Some institutes only allow BSc graduates in nursing, in Radio Imaging or any other specialisation in the medical field for enrolment.
Yes. However, you need to have basic knowledge in fundamentals of radio imaging devices. So, students who performed well in B.Sc MIT can easily study M.Sc MIT.
